ANIA Cycling’s lead coach is James Sullivan (“Sully”). Sully has been riding bikes since he was a small boy and it’s said that he still rides his bike like a 4 year old, not with stabilisers; but with a real love and unbridled joy that you only get while you’re on a bike!
To ensure that you get the most from any coaching, and are in the safest of hands, all coaches at ANIA Cycling are qualified through British Cycling and all, at a minimum, hold the following qualifications:
Superb, joyful, great at building confidence and an amazing coach!
I can't recommend the coaching session enough for taking our mountain bike skills to the next level. 5 starts for Sully and the Drops coaching. I went in hoping to nail technique, but after 2 hours of a well-paced tailored experience, I was hitting the 5 foot drops with a smile on my face
My son and I had a great session with Sully. Progress is very controlled and very well explained. There was a noticeable big difference in our confidence and ability by the time we finished. Sully was very patient and encouraging with my son which was great as he had recently scraped himself up coming off his bike
Had my session with Sully. Was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend
I had my first lesson with Sully doing "Corners and Berms" after only purchasing my mountain bike 4 weeks ago. It was such a great experience. He was such a patient teacher, giving great feedback, which was super constructive and really helped with my confidence on the bike. I'm looking forward to booking further coaching with him!
I had an excellent MTB session with Sully at the Summit in Swinley Forest. He was friendly, gave great advice, and pointed out key areas for improvement. The session was clear and well constructed, and the follow-up summary email was a nice touch
